1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Stir ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Stir is a recipe management and cooking assistant application that allows you to import recipes from websites and social media, plan meals, track nutrition, generate shopping lists, and interact with a cooking assistant. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features of the App as a guest without creating an account. To access the full functionality, you may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Stir offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any recipes, images, or other content you create or import using the App. By making content public on Stir's Explore feed, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content within the App and on our marketing channels.

6. Imported Content

When you import recipes from third-party websites or social media platforms, you acknowledge that the original content may be subject to copyright. Imported recipes are stored for your personal use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of imported content complies with applicable copyright laws.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Resell or commercially exploit the App's content or features

8. Nutrition Information Disclaimer

Nutrition information provided by Stir is estimated based on recipe ingredients and quantities. These estimates are for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for dietary, medical, or health decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional for specific dietary advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Stir is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Profile settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data, recipes, and associated content will be permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
